Alembic - TTB Table Calculator app for iPhone and iPad

Alembic is a calculator designed to assist with filling out paperwork for the TTB when distilling spirits.

The first calculation Alembic supports is converting Proof and Temperature into True Percent Proof. This is handled by looking up values from Table 1 provided by the TTB. It also automatically handles interpolating values from Table 1, if fractional proof or temperature is provided, eliminating the need to calculate whole number lookups by hand. Converting True Percent Proof and Volume into Proof Gallons is also supported. This calculation can be used as a convenience for working in the standard units used in TTB paperwork. The final conversion is calculating dilution from Current Proof, Target Proof, and Volume. This is calculated using values from Table 6 provided by the TTB.

All proof inputs allow for either Proof or %ABV. All temperature inputs allow for Fahrenheit, Celsius, Kelvin, or Rankine. All volume inputs allow for Milliliters, Liters, or Gallons. All values are converted and displayed instantly during input, to provide as much data as possible for convenience when filling out paperwork.
